Monarch Adult (FIRST sighted)

Date: 04/12/1999

Number: 1

We reported on April 11th that we saw Monaerch eggs on milkweed. The next day we started to see our first Monarchs. On the 13th wee saw our first larvae. The catterpillars are about 1/4" long and sarting to eat really fast. The excitment is high around here, we just put out 150 milkweed plants, three weeks ago. They are covered with eggs. The palnts we put out emerged berfore the plants we had planed in years past. Now we are worried if there will be enough to feed them all.
