Tulips BLOOMED

Date: 04/15/1999

Number: 1

Yesterday morning we observed buds and before lunch they had opened fully. Now we know why they are called Emperor Tulips. They look like an emperor's crown. We have been measuring and graphing the growth of our tulips since the end of March. They are now 11" tall. Is that the average height of other Emperor Tulips around the country?
