I wanted to report my first Monarch sighting of 1999. It was
seen by me, Harry LeGrand, and John Finnegan at Hammock's Beach State
Park on Bear Island, NC (near Swansboro, NC). We saw one individual
around noon, flying NE up the coast at the edge of the island on
Saturday, April 17, 1999.
