Good morning! this is my first report! My first graders found their first
evidence of earthworms on the school playground on April 5th. Many castings!
they now check everyday.With the help of our dads, 7 worm observatories were
made of 12 by 15 inch plexiglas pieces on a wooden frame. The children filled
them with gravel,soil and sand and presented them to the other kdgn and 1st
grade classes. Worms were added in anticipation of EarthDay and the worms
are at work! The children were also working on research and poetry.
