Migrating passerines are just about through this area. Weekend of 4-18-99 was the peak. Weekend 4-25-99 mostly normal summer residents remaining. Lots of south winds, no storms and lack of rainfall here encouraged birds to move through quickly but numbers observed on 4-18-99 were outstanding for buntings, tanagers, warblers, kingbirds and grosbeaks. This will probably be my last entry for spring so I am counting on all of you up north to extend my "Spring Fever" as long as possible. Thanks!!
