Bright and early Monday morning a robin was sitting in the very top of an aspen tree in my front yard singing his heart out. The temperature was 25ºF, and there was still some snow on the ground. He was the first robin sighted as well as the first robin heard. Since then, there have been several in my yard, although the students who have been watching haven't been as lucky.
