My husband Jack, His sister and bro-in-law Mr. and Mrs. Dale Strohm of Lancaster Ohio and myself, were boating on Salt Fork Lake near Cambridge Ohio. We saw one Bald Eagle and took several photo's of it. Could not see whether it had a leg band or not.
Quite a thrill for all of us as none had seen an eagle that close.
We had been told last year of a similiar sighting but didn't see it that summer. We dock our boat at that lake so are often on the water.
I had photographed an Osprey just 2 days before that on the same lake.
Do you know if this is a regular resident of the lake or just a migrant?
You can bet we will all be looking skyward every visit to the lake this year!
