Krahn Elementary wants to join "Unpave the Way Project". We have successfully completed our first phase of the butterfly garden (30' by 6'). We have planted many nectar and host plants for the monarch, gulf fritillary, tiger and black swallowtail, and others. We have released 22 monarchs and 2 are ready to emerge any minute. We can't believe how putting host plants in our garden has brought our school alive with butterflies. We love it! Future plans are in the works to expand the garden. Wow! Thanks Journey North!
