We had made estimates on the date of bloom and 4 students were within 3 days of the date that one of the students livivng near school saw the first open flower. This is what we have used as a requirement for caling it blooming both with tulips and amaryllus predictions. This year the tulips were red and looked beatutiful against the yellow surprises from last year. .
