Monarch Adult (FIRST sighted)

Four of my Science students saw a male Monarch sitting on a purple colored bush drinking nectar. The male was brightly colored, showing no signs of wear. Time was 3:32 pm, on an overcast day, light rain every so often, temperature was lower 60's. The sighting was in a residential area-a backyard on a home.
