Forwarded from Monarch Watch
On Sunday, May 16, I was out gathering viceroy eggs and larvae and came
across one milkweed plant near the willow trees. Luckily, there was ONE egg
on the plant - first sign I've seen of any Monarchs in this area. It's
rather early in the season for them, but we have had some very hot days
lately. Our milkweed is only four to five inches high, but should grow
quickly with rain we had yesterday and today.
I enjoy everyone's postings and have learned a lot from the list.
