At 2:30 about a half a block from my house I spotted a Monarch.
It was bright orange and in excellent condition. Flying over tall weeds, didn't see if it was a female. Windy today gusts about 25mph. Sunny and warm about 75 degrees. There isn't any milkweed there so hopefully it will find my garden. I have plenty
of milkweed and a Butterfly Bush already in bloom. The rest are about 4 weeks until they bloom. I also have plenty of perennials in bloom now. If I see one in my yard I will report that also.
