Robin (First SEEN)

Date: 05/20/1999

Number: 1

Last Friday, we first saw our new friend "Robin" in our bathroom window seal. She apprarently felt this was a safe place, because by Sunday, she had built a beautiful nest. On the window ledge. We decided to adopt her and make her our summer sicence project. Today we noticed that she had a surprise for us. She has laid two beautiful eggs in her perfectly built nest. They are the most beautiful shade of blue. My children were so excited. My five year old has already asked why the eggs have to stay outside. He's afraid they might get cold at night. My 10 year old wants to know how long it'll be before they will hatch. My two teenage girls don't think I'm quite as strange as they thought. They think this is pretty cool too. We would like some information about our new friend and her family. Any information would be of great help and would make our project alot more interesting.
