One adult monarch, wings in good condition, flew past me in the garden,it did not land.It was sunny,dry and in the 80's.
I was very excited! I did not observe one Monarch butterfly at all last summer.Not one of the milkweed plants in my two patches were touched by any caterpillars-the leaves were in perfect condition - no holes.I hope this is a sign that more Monarchs are on their way!
