two monarchs in perfect condition were seen flying at 11:30 AM in a field of grass and wildflowers. It was clear and sunny, approximately 85 degrees F, with only a slight wind. I couldn't tell if they were male or female, as they were too far away. Although monarchs were reported on your migration map for this area already, we may be a little behind everyone else due to our elevation (we are in the Catskills).
