Monarch Adult (FIRST sighted)

Date: 06/07/1999

Number: 1

Just outside the Detroit Sportsman's Camp on Oakwood Rd. I saw my first "new generation" monarch of the season. It was in perfect shape and was flying actively through the field. Also present were singing Yellow warblers, Common Yellowthroats and Catbirds.
A beautiful sight on a hot day!
