Monarch Adult (FIRST sighted)

Date: 06/05/1999

Number: 1

On a Hot afternoon we were watching other species of butterfly feeding at the Lilac bushes when a Monarch drifted thru the yard. It didnt stop to feed while we watched. The milk weed that grows in the yard is only about 6 inches tall and not even budding yet so we were surprised to see a Monarch so early.
