We observed a female monarch flying around some milkweed in the outdoor classroom at Kilpatrick Elementary. She was very bright in color and looked newly emerged. We are watching for signs that she might have laid eggs there. We also saw two other monarchs flying as we were driving around town - could
not identify their sex. We are seeing very few monarchs in our area at this time and every time we see one it is a treat.
