The Monarch's have picked up today. Saw a female laying eggs on small milkweed plants one egg on each plant about 8. I'm not sure why she's not laying them on more adult plants. With this drout, I make sure the milkweed is well watered. Also observed 5 Monarch that looked like they were fighting. I saw one of them was a male.
I have been seeing alot of other butterfly's too. Today I saw my first of the season Buckeye.
