On September 1st I found a 1st instar caterpillar eating away. It is now in 3rd instar. The butterflies I am releasing seem to hang around and nectar for a day and then are gone. Now I have released 149 males and 192 females. Usually the ratio between the sexes is 50-50, but not so far this year.
