This week we have only seen a few monarchs. We are very concerned because we have an ideal monarch habitat that is surrounded by farmland that is planted with the controversial genetically engineered field corn. We are wondering if this corn pollen has anything to do with the reason why we are seeing so few monarchs this migration season. In previous years we have had cedar trees full of monarchs. This has been a disappointing fall migration so far.
