We set up a caterpillar observation station in the classroom to watch our 2 new caterpillars. Two kids at a time watched, then drew the next 2 names from a box of name cards, and the next 2 took their 5 minute turn. Suddenly the watchers called out that one of the caterpillars was forming its crysallis! The whole class was able to watch this miracle! We are now tallying the days until the Monarch emerges.
