With a grant from the National Wildlife Federation my classroom students have created a butterfly garden at our school. We have included 4 ponds, 8 butterfly bushes and quite a lot of blooming perenials. It has been a very rewarding and educational project. We have also included a rock pile which is inhabited by frogs and reptile critters. We hope to expand the outside classroom each year. We are taking part in the tulip project this year and will soon plant 150 bulbs.
