Practice Report (Any Species)

Date: 09/25/1999

Number: 1

For almost a month now we have constantly seen groves of hummingbirds around dust feeding on three of our feeders (approx. 50 at a time). The feeders are refilled two or three times a day now to keep up with the demand for food. The birds sit in the camilia trees we have around the house and fly back and forth to the feeders and are constantly chattering. The hummingbirds have been known to come behind, you close to your ears, and "hum" very loud. We call it "buzzing you".
