Immature hummingbird checking out my "Lucifer" cannas and orange impatiens at home this evening. Trees here coloring up already, found freshly-fallen buckeyes, too. Small streams here totally dry, hasn't REALLY rained since June. One and a half cracks in the ground in my unwatered flowerbeds. Goldenrod in bloom and asters too.
