Signs of Fall

Date: 09/27/1999

Number: 1

Today between rain showers four robins visited the yard looking for worms and a bath in the birdbath. This is a sign of fall for us because as a rule our local robins leave in August and migrating robins start visiting around the first of October arriving in groups. Group after group arrive and hang around until our white crab apple tree is bare of its orange berries.
