Since early September, I have sighted at the very least 4-6 monarchs daily (with a couple of rainy day exceptions). However, during this last week there has only been 2 seen all week. Since it is expected to freeze tonight, I expect the lone stragler I saw on Friday will be my last for the year. As in baseball, I pray there will always be a next season for the migrants.
