Females are depositing 20 to 30 eggs a day on backyard milkweed. We will releasing about 500 "coastal monarchs of Texas" over the next 7 days. They will be tagged AND wing marked with the letter "V" if released in Victoria or the last numeral of the day ... males odd and females even ... if released in Port Lavaca.
