Today we began to prepare the soil in our courtyard garden so that we can plant a number of butterfly attracting plants that will hopefully increase the number of monarchs and others that we see in the Spring. We also prepared a bed to plant the Emperor tulips which will be planted according to directions on Monday. We plan to plant bulbs in two separate locations to see if they actually bloom sooner in our courtyard than in an exposed site at our school. We'll keep in touch.
