Entry-First grade students at Kearsarge Regional Elementary School in New London, NH planted 100 Red Emperor tulips around the flagpole in fornt of their school according to Journey North specifications on October 14, 1999. It was hard work digging the bed 7 inches deep, but with perseverance, they did it! We are keeping journals of all our activities, and are charting them for record keeping. Bulb culture is such a wonderful way to learn that some things in life we have to wait for. Thank you for letting us join your research experiment. Thnk Spring.
