Cold weather is closing in fast. On Oct 15th we had a day that reached the 70's. As soon as I came home from work, I immediately went into my backyard and sure enough, there was a monarch on my butterfly bush. I figure he or she must have recently emerged. Oct 18th the morning temperature was 37 degrees and we should have a frost soon, so I very much doubt if they will be any more monarchs for this year.
