Today is October 21, 1999. It was a gorgeous day at Aquinas Middle School, the wind was a soft and gentle breeze. The sun was shinning brightly in the early fall sky. The ground was warm and dry. A perfect day for tulip planting. We planted 58 Emperor tulips on the south side of our school so that we can enjoy them in the spring when they spring forth their beautiful rose colored petals. We are awaiting the arival with enthusiastic energy.
