The grades 3,4, and 5 students at St. Peters in Trenton Ontario report that they have just planted their Journey North garden in the junior yard. This year, over 75 tulip and daffodil bulbs were planted, and the students planted 30 Journey North tulips. Our garden is small but beautiful- we planted the Journey North tulips all around the young maple tree and also by the fence. Mrs. Conroy dug the holes and we measured each one with a bulb planter. We are going to put leaves over top of our garden next week. The weather was sunny but cool- it was 8C, with rain forecast for the next few days. There are six junior grade classes so three students from each class helped to plant the bulbs.
