Monarch Adult Sighted

Date: 10/08/1999

Number: 1

We have a school garden. We have a butterfly garden, herb garden, Native American garden, meadow and pond. We are enjoying it very much. We noticed many birds and butterflies using it this fall. On Friday October 8, 1999, we saw a monarch sipping nectar from one of the flowers. We saw the probiscus. Since we haven't seen another one, we assume that was the last one until spring.
