Our intermediate multi-age class (grades 3 and 4) in Rockport,Maine planted our bulbs Thursday, October 21. It was fun analyzing different planting sites using the rubric provided by Journey North. We planted 26 bulbs in a bed outside the front of our school building. We also decorated our Journey North folders with prints using our dissected bulbs. After planting, we patted the soil firmly, gathered our tools, some of us said, "Good night! Sleep tight! See you in the year 2000!"
