IT WAS A WARM, SUNNY OCTOBER MORNING FOR PLANTING OUR RED EMPEROR TULIP BULBS. WE CHOSE A SITE IN THE SCHOOL COURTYARD. EACH STUDENT "ADOPTED" A TULIP BULB FOR OUR PROJECT. WE DECIDED TO GET THE MASS AND CIRCUMFERENCE BEFORE IT WAS PLANTED TO SEE IF THERE IS A RELATIONSHIP BZE AND IT EMERGES IN THE SPRING.
