Each fall, when the weather begins to get cold, a few migrating golden eagles are seen along the shoreling of Lake Ontario.
Last week (~10/22/99), quite a number were seen in Toronto and east of Toronto at Whitby at the hawk watches (ie 12 here and 14 there).
