Planting tulips today wasn't scary at all! The weather was beautiful with a high temperature of 67 degrees F, and bright sunny skies.

We placed wire mesh over the newly planted tulip bed, because winter is coming and the squirrels are hungry now. Their sense of smell is many times greater than ours, so who could blame them for being tempted to this tulip bulb treat. It's probably like the smell of popcorn to us!
