Dear Journey North,


We planted tulips October 29,1999. It was 78 degrees Fahrenheit. We planted them at 1:30 p.m. It was a beautiful day. We planted Black Swans, Red Emperors and White Dream. The Black Swans and White Dream were planted next to the Red Emperors. We planted them in a circle around an Oak tree. Black Swans were planted in the center by the tree. White Dream was planted in the middle of the circle. The Red Emperors of course were planted around the edge of the circle. We planted it under a White Oak tree 6" deep. After we planted them we covered them with mulch. We wetted it down with water a couple of times. It was fun and hard work.
