Our garden was planted at Journey North Headquarters today. Half of the bulbs were planted EXACTLY as instructed. We also planted an experimental section, where all the bulbs were only 3 inches deep, instead of 7 inches as required. (We will ONLY consider those planted 7 in. deep as our official bulbs.) What do you suppose the difference in emerging dates will be for the shallow bulbs? Will the shallow bulbs bloom at a different date too? Can't wait for next spring to find out!
