Our bulbs will go into the ground on January 6, 2000. Our five third grade classes will be planting the bulbs with the help of our Environmental committee from PTA.
Our bulbs have been chilled so that they will think it is time to begin growing when they are put into our warmer dirt. Although winter begins on the same day of the calendar for us, our weather conditions may be quite different from yours. Last year we had many days with temperatures of 90 degrees or higher in the month of January.
