On Nov 15, Ms Abbott's 3rd graders pot in 50 bulbs on the southwest corner of our school in front of our sign. On Tues. Ms Lasken's third graders planted 50 more tulips. On Wednesday Ms Thompson's class put in 50 tulips. On Friday we had a total of 200 tulips out front when Ms. Walker's class put in the final 50 bulbs. We were assisted by Barbara Percival, Richard's Mom and gardener extraordinaire. Our garden is part of a large urban school yard project funded by a Dept. of Agriculture grant.
