Red-winged Blackbird (FIRST sighted)

Date: 01/26/2000

Number: 1

An 18+ inch snow cover has brought birds too numerous to count to our backyard, where we have scattered seed daily since the storm hit. We have seen several red-winged blackbirds amongst the cowbirds, juncos, blue jays, blue birds, cardinals, towhees, and sparrows, and occasional dove.
