Purple Martins (in small numbers ... scouts) are being reported at many sites along and south of I-10 across Texas. Petra Hockey reported sighting Tree and Cave swallows in the hundreds (Calhoun County) AND her first Purple Martin, a male, (Victoria County) on Friday, Feb 4th.
