It was a really sunny day and I decided to see if there were any robins outside, so I took my binoculars and notebook and went onto the woodshed roof. My neighbor Matt has a cotoneaster and there, just sitting and eating away, were six robins. I saw a few more that day, plus two blue jays, but that was my first sighting migrating robins. Some robins live here all year. I also saw a dead robin on Jan. 20th at a park near my house, but I don't know if that counts.
