Fellow science teacher said she heard a robin's single "chirp" call yesterday in Quincy,IL.This morning approx. sunrise I heard the same thing in Quincy,IL. Driving to work I saw a male robin sitting in a sapling along the highway right outside of Mendon, IL approx. 7:30 am. I got a good look; there is no doubt it was a male robin!
