A group of approximately 25 robins was resting in the trees behind our apartment. They were eating berries from the trees and had their feathers fluffed out. They took turns hovering in groups of two to three birds, trying to keep warm. A few days later, we had a thaw and the temperatures rose above fifty degrees.
