These are general sightings my class would like to report. I wasn't sure which heading, but these are actual observations.

Other signs of spring: Here are some signs of spring we have noticed in the last week:
Nichole Shaffer 2/22/00- I saw frogs moving along the edge of a pond, geese flying, and more birds around my house. Also, the lilac bush'es buds are getting bigger.
Crystal 2/21/00 - My dad saw flocks of geese flying over head.
Jordan 2/22/00 - I saw a male robin, and a female robin.
Debbie Wallock 2/22/00- Crocuses on the south side of the house are in full bloom, Two flocks of over 100 snow geese flew overhead late afternoon on 2/19/00. I saw three more flocks over the weekend. They were all heading due north, or northwest towards the Mississippi River. Also, 2/21/00 I heard the first cardinal singing.
