Robin (WAVE seen)

Date: 02/23/2000

Number: 1

We saw our first wave of robins today, sweeping around us near a wetlands area of our apartment complex. The first flock had about twenty birds in it. The second flock burst out of the brush right in front of us (as we were peering beyond it to watch more robins flitting in palmettos about 30 yards back) and flew low above the street into palmettos and pine trees in another wetlands area, where flocks of blackbirds were gathered. There were 20 -30 robins in that group. It was really a pretty sight!
