I have a hummingbird nest in my back yard. There are now 2 babies in the nest. They have feathers and look like they are about to outgrow the nest. After the babies hatch, does the mother stay close? I do see her but don't see her sitting on the babies. She does feed them because they are growing and I have seen here by the nest.
